Choosing an agent for your personal life

1. Pick the surface you already open
WhatsApp → Muse. iMessage or plain texting → Instinct (invite-only) or Siri AI on iPhone. Gmail/Android → Gemini Spark. ChatGPT power user → Dots (needs Pro).
2. Free is not free
Muse has a free weekly allowance and Instinct is free for invite-only users. Analysts quoted by The Verge expect commerce and advertising to fund free agents. Decide what you are comfortable with an agent recommending to you.
3. Life admin needs phone calls
Instinct and Muse both added calls to businesses in September 2026. If your to-do list is dentists and cable companies, that matters more than benchmark scores.
4. Wallets
Use capped, one-time payment credentials. Muse uses Stripe Link’s agent wallet so it never sees your card number.
5. Region
Outside the US, options shrink: Muse is US-only, Spark and Dots (Pro) exclude the EEA/UK/Switzerland, and Siri AI is not initially in the EU on iPhone.
